Meet the Family Behind Diapers to Disciples
We’re Corey and Anna Zimmerman: parents to four wildly loved children, students of spiritual formation and child development, and the creators of Diapers to Disciples. Our ministry was born in the trenches of parenting—the sacred, exhausting, beautiful work of raising little humans and praying they grow to know and love Jesus.
As Christian parents and seminarians, we felt the tension between what we were learning and what we were living. We had all the books, but where were the tools for families still in the diaper years? Where was the support for parents who wanted to disciple their kids but were also just trying to survive the bedtime routine? How do I lead a 2-year-old to abide in Christ when they can’t regulate their big emotions?
We started Diapers to Disciples to bridge that gap.
Our mission is to equip parents to spiritually form their children from the earliest years through story, Scripture, and secure connection. We believe that discipleship doesn’t wait for a child to “understand theology”—it begins in the moments when a parent prays over their baby bump, sings Amazing Grace as they rock their infant, kneels to comfort a crying toddler, models forgiveness after snapping, or reads a bedtime story that points to Jesus.
Through our Carpenter Kids: Little by Little book series, parent devotionals, and family resources, we’re building a movement that empowers moms, dads, grandparents, guardians, and church leaders to make disciples right where they are—in the chaos and quiet of everyday life.
We’re walking this journey little by little, just like you. Thanks for joining us.
